Plug Valve Series

A plug valve is a type of valve that achieves opening, closing, or regulating fluid flow by rotating a central perforated plug. It features a simple structure, low flow resistance, and easy operation, and is often used in scenarios where rapid shut-off or redirection of the medium is required.

X43Y American Standard Lifting Plug Valve
  1. When opening and closing, the metal hard-sealed lifting plug valve first lifts the plug to disengage it from the valve seat sealing surface, and then rotates the plug by 90°. The operation is easy, the sealing surface is less likely to be scratched, and the valve has a long service life.

  2. Whether the valve is open or closed, the sealing surface is protected from medium scouring, ensuring reliable sealing.

  3. It uses a circular passage with the same cross-sectional area as the pipeline, resulting in lower fluid resistance compared to ordinary plug valves with rectangular passages.

  4. It has a compact structure and small volume. It is lower in height than gate valves and has less fluid resistance than globe valves.

  5. It has a wider applicable pressure and temperature range than ordinary plug valves.

BX44W Insulated Three-way Plug Valve

The three-way insulated plug valve is developed based on the ordinary three-way plug valve. A metal jacket is welded to the outside of the valve body, and jacket interfaces are installed on both sides of the valve body. Hot water, steam, heat transfer oil or other superheated gases can be injected through these interfaces to prevent the medium from solidifying or crystallizing at normal temperature. It is used for high-viscosity media such as paraffin and oil products, and is made entirely of carbon steel or stainless steel.

X44W three-way plug valve

The valve body and valve core of the X44W three-way stainless steel plug valve are made of chromium-nickel-titanium stainless steel, which is suitable for media such as nitric acid and acetic acid. It is mainly used to open and close the media in pipelines and equipment. The plug rotates with the valve stem to achieve the opening and closing actions. Small-sized plug valves without packing are also known as "cocks". The plug of a plug valve is mostly conical (there are also cylindrical ones), which forms a sealing pair with the conical hole surface of the valve body. The plug valve is one of the earliest valves used, featuring a simple structure, rapid opening and closing, and low fluid resistance.

X43W Cock Valve
1. Plug valves are suitable for frequent operation, featuring rapid and effortless opening and closing. 2. Plug valves have low fluid resistance. 3. Plug valves have a simple structure, relatively small volume, and light weight, making them easy to maintain. 4. They have good sealing performance. 5. Their installation is not restricted by direction. 6. They operate without vibration and produce little noise.
